ROSA’S CAFE FEEDS FAMILIES OF FALLEN SOLDIERS
Snowball Express brings thousands of children and spouses to DFW
Rosa’s Cafe and its parent company, Bobby Cox Companies, Inc. recently donated a full-service catering to serve approximately 2,000 children and spouses of fallen soldiers following the Snowball Express’ annual balloon release honoring those soldiers. The event was scheduled on the morning of December 10, 2017 in the Fort Worth Stockyards. This was Rosa’s second year to be involved with the event, but first to make a complete donation of food and personnel necessary to serve the children and families left behind by America’s fallen military members who have made the ultimate sacrifice since 9/11.
Since 2006, the mission of Snowball Express has been to provide hope and new happy memories to the children of fallen military heroes who have died while on active duty since 9/11. Each December, Snowball Express - in partnership with American Airlines - brings children together from all over the world to DFW for a four-day experience filled with socializing, fun activities and memorable events. Nationally, Snowball Express provides comprehensive support programs for fallen families that are focused on transition and connections to community resources, healing and wellness, peer engagement, education and personal/professional development programs.
